Winner of the 2010 Harrods Design Award, Jackie JS Lee channels her passion for classic detailing and signature tailoring. With an emphasis on innovative and masterly pattern cutting, the aesthetic harnesses classic traditional tailoring, that has a sleek and subtle feminine edge. Drawing inspiration from the severe Russian Constructivism movement and working with heavy weight jersey fabrics in a dusty monochrome palette, the collection falls elegantly on the female form.

The J JS Lee aesthetic has been built on the importance of innovative and masterly pattern cutting; an essence of traditional tailoring with a defining sleek womanly twist. Jackie's last two collections were extremely satisfying in translating the original purpose for which she got into fashion; tailoring approached with more abstract research.

She is ever conscious in her pursuit to utilize menswear classics that she does not veer too close to a silhouette or representation that is too masculine developing a signature of tailoring in feminine jersey fabrics that comfortably and elegantly fall on the female form. For F/W 11, J JS LEE will create a new style based on the influences of the painting 'Guitar' by Picasso and will introduce a possibility of men's wear with her own aesthetic.

Her signature will also evolve into the use of chunky fabric - leather, knit and wool moving on to darker, rougher and more layered styling as well as silhouette while playing with embossed stripes and tailored details. For softness in tailored shapes she will also add knitwear to create a new contrasting feel.

J JS LEE SS 11 collection is exclusively sold at Dover Street Market - London.
