Young Lilee was awarded a highly commended prize with special mention for her exquisite dresses at the final LCF MA show a the V&A.



Young Lilee’s collection is inspired by the strength of women – and the way that women can use passive aggressiveness to assert themselves. Using the undulations of a woman’s hair, a sculpting technique in French rope was developed to create intricate symmetrical patterns that give her garments form and structure. The silhouette translation is sensual in form with gold fixtures that reference military insignia.
