Born in Seoul, S. Korea and raised in Northern California, Susan Suh moved to New York City to pursue her second career in fashion design.
She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology while gaining industry experience at such houses as Armani and Versace. With the engagement to her fiancé, she was asked to design her own engagement ring with that experience, she also fell in love with the making of jewelry. She then attended the Jewelry Arts Institute to study classical jewelry-making techniques before launching her debut collection, Freedom & Hope.
