Seounghyon Cho specializes in using encaustic wax (basically painting with beeswax and color pigments) to create his work. The somewhat uncommon technique lends his work a unique look and texture that, coupled with his eye for interesting angles and composition, makes for some genuinely interesting artwork.

Seounghyon Cho was born and grew up in South Korea. He came to the United of states to study Illustration. He received his BFA at the Columbus College of Art & Design and MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
He resides in New York City and works as a freelance illustrator.
