Aeon-Flux, the brainchild of Peter Chung (also the writer/director of the terrific Animatrix short, “Matriculated”), is one of the really innovative and unique animated shows to come out of the United States. We really have to thank MTV for allowing this show to get produced, and then, after realizing that they just couldn’t control it, for letting it go on unfettered for a second season. Aeon-Flux is not meant to be a coherent whole – this postmodern cyberpunk show is as nihilistic as they come. 
The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury (2004)
The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury is the latest trend in Hollywood to arise, thanks to The Matrix sequel franchise explosion. Enter the Matrix, and The Animatrix served to flesh out the Wackowski brothers' universe outside of their film trilogy. True to form, The Chronicles of Riddick is looking to repeat that success with its own game title (Escape from Butcher Bay) and an animated sequel -- or prequel, depending how you look at it -- that bridges the gap between the events Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick.
The Animatrix
Deadshot is one of six short films that make up Batman: Gotham Knight. The screenplay was written by Alan Burnett from a story by Jordan Goldberg, and it was directed by Jong-Sik Nam with Robert Kral who did the music. The film was produced by Madhouse, the same animation company that did the animations for shows such as Cardcaptor Sakura, Death Note and Last Order: Final Fantasy VII.
